Lucas Dudeck, geboren 1997 in Rostock, schließt derzeit sein Studium der Bildenden Kunst an der Universität der Künste Berlin in der Klasse von Thilo Heinzmann ab. Am Institut für Kunstwissenschaft und Ästhetik ist er seit 2022 als Assistent von Prof. Barbara Wittmann tätig.
Im Zentrum seiner künstlerischen Praxis steht das Theater als Ort einer unmittelbaren und flüchtigen Erfahrung. Dabei untersucht er den Bühnenraum als räumliches Gefüge, in dem emotionale Intensität durch Zeitlichkeit, Bewegung und die Beziehung zwischen Körper und Raum entsteht.
Lucas Dudeck, born in Rostock, Germany, in 1997, is currently completing his degree in Fine Arts at the Berlin University of the Arts in the class of Thilo Heinzmann. Since 2022, he has been working as an assistent to Prof. Barbara Wittmann at the university’s Institute for Art History, Art Theory and Aesthetics.
At the center of his artistic practice is theatre as a site of immediate and ephemeral experience. In this context, he examines the stage space as a spatial configuration in which emotional intensity emerges through temporality, movement, and the relationship between body and space.
